So, I'm snowed in, and my days have consisted of completing edits on Eternal Bloom, chasing my two year old, and trying to scribble down ideas for additional books.  I have so many ideas.  People ask me where do I get my ideas...from life.  If you have never been through the fire, you certainly cannot write about it.  Meaning: writing comes from life experiences.  It also comes from being able to kinda be an em-path--meaning: when I write, I actually assume the identity of the protagonist in the story.

Becoming Aiyana was very difficult.  I have never been in a violent relationship...I only knew that others had been and were, and I wanted to help them.  I always felt frustrated, and helpless watching them go through their ordeals.  Eternal Bloom is my way of coping...my way of walking in the shoes of another in efforts to be able to help instead of judge.
